34th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition – EUBCE 2026, Tuesday 19 – Friday 22 May 2026, The Hague, Netherlands
EUBCE is one of the largest global conferences and exhibitions on biomass, serving as a worldwide hub for science, business, and industry in the biomass and bioenergy sector.
Every year, EUBCE brings together leading experts and showcases the latest advancements in biomass. Our primary mission is to accelerate research and global market adoption.
The conference welcomes over 1,500 experts from 80 countries, representing both academia and industry. During the event, participants share and discuss ideas, technologies, applications, and innovative solutions related to the supply, production, and use of biomass. The scientific programme covers key topics such as sustainable resources for decarbonising the economy, biomass conversion into intermediate bioenergy carriers and sustainable biofuels, bioenergy integration, as well as bio-based products, sustainability, impacts, and bioeconomy policies.
Industry sessions will explore areas such as sustainable biomass production and carbon management for industrial applications, biomethane production, advanced biofuels for road transport, heavy-duty vehicles, and aviation, as well as innovative biorefineries producing bioproducts and biochemicals.
Running alongside the conference, an exhibition area will host sponsors and participating European projects to showcase their services and results, facilitating academic and commercial networking, and enabling connections between companies, associations, and stakeholders.
The scientific programme is coordinated by the European Commission Joint Research Centre.
The event is supported by the Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint Undertaking.
