EUBCE 2026, the 34th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition, once again confirmed its role as one of the key global meeting points for the bioenergy and bioeconomy community. The event gathered more than 1,400 participants from over 60 countries, bringing together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology providers around the full biomass value chain.
Hosted in The Hague, the conference combined a high-level scientific programme with industry sessions, an exhibition area, and multiple networking opportunities. Key topics included sustainable biomass sourcing, advanced biofuels, biomethane, bio-based chemicals, and the scale-up of solutions for hard-to-decarbonise sectors such as aviation and heavy transport.
A special focus this year was also placed on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF), with a dedicated roundtable highlighting policy and industry priorities to accelerate deployment in Europe.
As media partner, we are proud to have contributed to sharing insights, innovations, and discussions from an ecosystem that is increasingly central to the energy transition. EUBCE continues to be a key platform where science meets industry and ideas move closer to real-world impact.
See you at the next edition in Reims.
