6 cogeneration plants for Granarolo: the winning solution for the dairy sector

Granarolo energy manager explains why this dairy company has chosen to improve its energy efficiency through cogeneration. Since 2010, the company has invested in 6 plants for a total of 15 MW, a strategy that has allowed Granarolo to produce around 68% of its energy needs. All this translates in saving of approximately €2 million/year on energy bills.
