8% of the electrical energy generated in Mexico will come from cogeneration
Market and policy
In accordance with the provisions of Mexico’s Energy Transition Law, cogeneration could help the country to achieve the established efficiency targets. In fact, it is expected that in the coming years, between 7 and 8% of the electrical energy generated could come from cogeneration and that green energy could help Mexico to be independent in terms of energy.
