A trigeneration plant for the Science Central technology hub in Newcastle
District heating and cooling
The city of Newcastle is ready to invest in new energy efficiency projects. For years the government has supported the development of district heating grids for council housing, but an innovative project is forecasted for 2016; on a brownfield site, Science Central is being built, a technology hub equipped with a trigeneration plant. A great opportunity for the city of Newcastle, both from an economic and environmental point of view.
