Caviro Extra: the commitment to sustainability with liquefied biomethane/RNG and CO2 recovery continues
Case history
Caviro Extra's journey into the world of sustainability continues. In addition to producing biogas and advanced biomethane/RNG from the waste of the processing of winemaking by-products and from the wastewater of agro-food companies (as we were told in THIS interview a few years ago), new virtuous projects have been launched. In fact, in 2020, the total recovery and purification plant of CO2 resulting from the biomethane/RNG production process (7 thousand tons produced) came into operation and a plant to liquefy the biomethane will soon be in operation as well, in order to fully exploit it for use in transport. The development of a new composted soil conditioner, produced from digestate and other organic residues, closes the circle.
