CHP as the ideal solution for energy resilience in the food industry

A reliable energy and cooling system is essential for the food industry, where preserving perishable products such as milk, meat, and beer is crucial. The Neelands Group has implemented two projects where cogeneration (CHP) proved to be the ideal solution for ensuring energy resilience: one with the Canadian chain Longo's, creating a net-zero store with solar panels and CHP, and another in the United States with Strack & Van Til, using CHP microturbines in Highland, Indiana. Both projects demonstrate the effectiveness of cogeneration in enhancing energy resilience and efficiency in the food sector.
