Market and policy
Micro-cogeneration and fuel cells alongside traditional engine or turbine cogeneration plants; COGEN Europe focuses its attention on these subjects over the course of 2016. We should not however forget that within the field of waste-to-energy (incineration), cogeneration could become a fundamental player, just think that 80 million tonnes of waste are incinerated per year and from this 8GW of electricity and 4GW of heat are produced.
