Clean Industrial Deal: what it is and how biogas can contribute

The Clean Industrial Deal is a strategy by the European Commission aimed at transforming the European industrial sector by enhancing competitiveness and decarbonizing energy consumption. With the goal of aligning sustainability with industrial growth, it focuses on energy-intensive and hard-to-abate sectors. The EBA – European Biogas Association has published a position paper to highlight the contribution of biogas to the Clean Industrial Deal and emphasize how the EU should leverage the strength of the sector.
