COGEN Europe: the EED must focus on the end-to-end energy supply chain, for a comprehensive vision on energy policy (part 1)

Kamila Waciega, chair of the Energy Policy Working Group for COGEN Europe comments on the EED (Energy Efficiency Directive) document, underlining that Article 7 is largely focused on the issue of reducing final energy consumption, but that attention must also be paid to the supply side of energy efficiency. It is therefore the entire supply chain that needs to be efficient to achieve primary energy savings.
