On the occasion of Cogeneration Day in Puerto Rico, we interviewed Hans Korteweg, Executive Director of the COGEN World Coalition (CWC), to gain insights into the current state of the cogeneration (CHP) market globally and the potential of this technology for Puerto Rico. In addition to offering an updated overview of cogeneration developments in different regions of the world, Hans highlights the opportunities this solution can offer an island aiming to strengthen its energy resilience, promote reindustrialization, and make the most of its local resources.
