Changeworks, an environmental voluntary organisation, considers it necessary to conduct an awareness campaign on the use of district heating for domestic use in the UK. Local authorities have in fact recognised that communities are not aware of the particularities of district heating and the benefits that can come with it, especially in terms of energy bill savings.
