As COGENERA MEXICO President points out, in countries like Finland and Denmark, cogeneration becomes crucial for district heating networks, in those cases where exhaust gases are used to power the plants and where the installed capacity is more than 40%. In Mexico, on the other hand, despite the potential power being 10 GW, bigger connection networks are needed in order to better develop district heating.
