Industrial cogeneration and the local community. Where is the synergy?
Industry and tertiary sector
One example of how the local community can indirectly benefit from a cogeneration plant. This is the case near Magna International, a leader in the production of automotive parts, which thanks to the installation of a 8 MW cogeneration plant autonomously produces electricity and heat. In this way the company has reduced its own energy consumption from the mains, making it available to meet the demands of the local community.
