Net Zero Hive: the project that brings biomethane to Spanish ports
Sustainable mobility
In Spain, the Net Zero Hive project is the evolution of the CORE LNGas Hive project, launched after the introduction of the alternative fuels directive, which aims to promote the use of biomethane and hydrogen in ports. In line with this project, Enagás is collaborating with the Port of Barcelona to produce biomethane from waste generated by ships and the port area, with the aim of providing at least 20-30% of the current LNG from bunkering.
