New projects for R & L Holt, a family-run company that grows tomatoes in the UK
Greenhouse
After a few years we have once again met Roly Holt, owner of the Sandylands greenhouse in the UK, who showed us the company’s new plans for 2019. As well as having just built a 14.5 hectare greenhouse, another 8-hectare greenhouse is under construction which will integrate 3 cogeneration plants. These plants will ensure greater flexibility in the management of the greenhouse’s electricity, thermal energy and CO2, and will even be able to operate in island mode, i.e. independently of the grid.
