Poland and biomethane: the sector is ready, now it’s time for concrete action

During the Biomethane Congress organised by the Magazyn Biomasa magazine, experts, investors and institutional representatives confirmed that Poland is technically and legally ready to embrace biomethane. The infrastructure is in place, gas network operators are on board, and the regulatory framework is evolving. Despite the optimism, there are still challenges ahead: more training, professionalisation and awareness are needed, including among policymakers. A shared vision emerged from the conference, held in May in Poznań: there is no more time to wait — it’s time to act.
