RNG in California: current policies and future uncertainties

California has adopted three main policies to support renewable natural gas (RNG): the Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS), Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS2) and Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS). Even if these policies are extremely effective, uncertainties about their duration and future usefulness are still unsolved. What could change?
