Spain awaiting a revamp of cogeneration plants for a total of 2500 Mw

Spain is awaiting a new law that would enable them to begin revamping their existing cogeneration plants. By 2020 cogeneration plants should be repowered for a total of 2500 Mw. It is an investment of 1.5 billion euros which will create new opportunities for manufacturing companies, engineering companies and ESCOs. Industries who will improve their own competitiveness on the market will also benefit.
