Spain awaiting a revamp of cogeneration plants for a total of 2500 Mw
Market and policy
Spain is awaiting a new law that would enable them to begin revamping their existing cogeneration plants. By 2020 cogeneration plants should be repowered for a total of 2500 Mw. It is an investment of 1.5 billion euros which will create new opportunities for manufacturing companies, engineering companies and ESCOs.
