Spanish cogeneration associations call for stability and competitiveness for the industry sector
Market and policy
Spain’s industry sector has been facing some political uncertainty and instability in the past few years, a situation that has also affected the cogeneration scenario. To try to address this issue the leading industry associations, ACOGEN and COGEN Spain, have raised their voice in order to help companies invest in cogeneration and obtain incentives to renew their existing plants. Thanks to this approach, companies can increase their competitiveness and be at the same level as their European competitors.
