The Biofuture Platform and the RenovaBio policy: here’s what Brazil is doing for biofuels
Market and policy
The Biofuture Platform brings together 20 countries on all five continents, with the common purpose of promoting and driving forward policies for the production and use of biofuels, in order to help in the fight against global climate change. The platform was created thanks to the Brazilian Government, which continues to play a key role as a facilitator. Brazil’s role in this sphere is also strengthened by the current national policy on biofuel, known as RenovaBio, which aims to reduce carbon emissions in the country.
