Towards a more efficient and green integrated energy system, also thanks to cogeneration
Market and policy
In the transition toward a green and more efficient energy system, no country should be left out. In this regard, the European Commission has promoted a number of initiatives. Among them, Cristian-Silviu Buşoi points out the “Strategy on Energy System Integration”, focused on a circular energy system and relying on the use of renewable sources. Today, most of the energy supply in buildings is inefficient and CHP can be a valid solution to increase energy efficiency by up to 90%, while reducing emissions.
