Voltage drops? Cogeneration plants can supply power

Cogeneration plants are considered flexible because they are easily monitored. In fact, the energy produced by these plants in Germany is fed into the grid when there is a drop in electrical power, to allow a steady supply. A bidding system regulates this market and the plant owners that supply electricity receive compensation. Lechner explains how it works.
