Distributed energy is the keyword for the future of energy in USA. Different types of technology allow us to generate energy from the consumption point, and microgrids are developing more and more. In this period of changes, as we are projected towards a future with zero emissions, cogeneration is essential but it must also aim at using renewable fuels, such as biomass.
