A CHP system for the district heating network of the town of Germering
District heating and cooling
In 2012, the municipal-owned company of the little German town of Germering evaluated the possibility of building a district heating network. After a series of studies, the winning solution found was the installation of a CHP system fuelled by biomethane. The many benefits, in relation to other types of technology, include fewer CO2 emissions and the possibility of accessing EU funding.
