A potential of 30 GW for combined heat and power in Mexico

Currently, the installed capacity of CHP in Mexico is 3.5 Mw, however the potential is much higher. In fact, it is expected to reach 30 GW in the coming years as this technology will be used in industries such as papermaking, petrochemical, plastics and food that require large amounts of energy.
