According to the European Paper Industry Association, the Fit for 55 package is not the cross-sectoral tool it should be for the energy transition phase. Furthermore, it is unclear and easily misunderstood by consumers and by the companies themselves. On the other hand, the objective which it aims for and the direction to be followed are clear.
