Agreement between GRDF and PSG for the green transition: sharing of biomethane best practices for the implementation of new plants in Poland
Applications and technologies
In 2023, GRDF and PSG, two of the largest gas distributors in Europe, signed a cooperation agreement to promote the green transition. The memorandum focuses on the development of renewable gases, in particular biomethane and synthetic methane, and on the adaptation of networks to the hydrogen market. The two companies share best practices and organise technical workshops to raise public awareness and facilitate the injection and distribution of biomethane into the Polish grid based on the French network’s experience with GRDF.
