Biogas Upgrading Membranes: A Close Look with UBE
Applications and technologies
SPONSORED VIDEO
Among the various technologies available for upgrading biogas to biomethane, membrane technology is certainly the most widespread and well-known. Gas separation membranes, in fact, offer an effective separation of CO2 and CH4 without the use of chemicals or water. This makes it an environmentally friendly and highly competitive solution in terms of CAPEX and OPEX. In this video with UBE, a Japanese manufacturer, we discover up close what membranes are which, thanks to their hollow polymeric fibres, are able to guarantee a pure biomethane of up to 99.5%.
