Biomedical devices in an increasingly green and sustainable company: Eurosets’s experience

Case history

Eurosets, an Italian company leader in the production of biomedical devices, has built its plant in a sustainable way because it believes in the intelligent use of energy and environmental resources. In fact, hanging gardens have been designed for thermal insulation and a rainwater recovery system for the irrigation of green areas, while solar panels have been installed on the roof of the building and recycled cardboard packaging is used to reduce the use of plastic. In addition to these initiatives, in 2019 the company installed a 294 kW trigeneration plant, resulting in a reduction of 290 tons of CO2/year and 35% savings on their energy bill. The electricity, hot and cold water produced by the plant are used in the company for cooling and heating the premises and white areas. Eurosets' goal is to help people get back to doing what they love, even better if in a clean world.
