Biomethane as a driver of green logistics in Brazil
Applications and technologies
Vanessa Pilz, Business and ESG Director at Reiter Log, explains how the company, a leader in sustainable logistics in Brazil, integrates biomethane into its fleet. Reiter Log currently operates four internal refuelling stations and works with clients engaged in decarbonisation pathways, promoting the transition from diesel to biomethane. The main challenges to the adoption of this fuel are related to infrastructure development and the regulatory framework, which are particularly critical in a country of continental dimensions such as Brazil. Accelerating its uptake requires targeted investments, appropriate public policies, and the active involvement of customers willing to share a common journey towards sustainability.
