Charlotte Morton of ADBA and WBA has received an OBE: a recognition also for the entire biogas sector
The OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) is among the most important honours in the United Kingdom awarded by the Queen to people who have done excellent work in the arts, sciences, public services and charity. And Charlotte Morton is one of these people.
Charlotte Morton, Chief Executive of the Anaerobic Digestion and Bioresources Association (ADBA) and of the World Biogas Association (WBA), was in fact awarded an OBE for her constant commitment to developing the biogas sector in the UK and around the world. The work of Charlotte and of her group has made it possible to further highlight the role of the anaerobic digestion industry not only in mitigating climate change but also in the field of food and energy safety.
