Cogeneration as a tool to create energy efficiency
Energy efficiency and cogeneration
Traicu, the Committee for Industry and Services of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies, believes that cogeneration is one of the best tools to achieve energy efficiency goals in industry, but not only. In fact, as suggested by Traicu, CHP is applied on a large scale (for district heating) and also for smaller industries, with excellent results in terms of emission reductions.
