Anna Pavlova, Vice President for Strategy and Market Development at CarbonQuest, explains how carbon capture and utilisation (CCU) technology works. In particular, it focuses on the association of this technology with natural gas cogeneration. The recovery of CO2 gives greater relevance to CHP systems in decarbonisation, since they make it possible to generate electricity and thermal energy efficiently and, if coupled with CCU, also in a sustainable way.
