In the United States, for instance, approximately 2% of the current electricity generation capacity is allocated to data centers, but this figure is expected to increase up to fivefold by 2030. To address this growing demand, cogeneration emerges as an ideal solution: it not only produces electricity but also allows thermal energy to be converted into cooling, a critical element for the operation of data centers.
