For BEUC, the European Consumer Organization, the theme of “energy” is quite relevant and of primary importance, as it is a cost that affects everyone personally. BEUC strives to produce energy more efficiently from an economic point of view and, at the same time, reducing emissions and energy poverty. Consumers can become an active part of the electricity market and the Fit for 55 package is laying the foundations to facilitate this process.
