At the Polytechnic University of Milan cogeneration is studied in the Micro-cogeneration Laboratory where various types of engines using natural gas and also synthetic gas produced by the same laboratory are tested. Professor Macchi discusses the latest developments in the sector which has made huge steps particularly as regards the reduction of emissions.
