Decarbonisation of buildings: the point of view of the European Heating Industry
District heating and cooling
We asked Federica Sabbati, Secretary General of the European Heating Industry, what the association is doing to promote the production of energy intelligently and locally to make buildings more efficient. Bringing together industries that produce systems and installations for heating, the EHI believes that all that is necessary to decarbonise buildings is an energy mix and, consequently, the adoption of a mix of technologies such as solar thermal, biogas cogeneration, fuel cells, and many others that use renewable gases.
