Decarbonising the residential sector with micro-cogeneration
Energy efficiency and cogeneration
As cogeneration plants support industries in the decarbonisation phase, micro-cogeneration can be a valid solution for the residential sector. These plants, with a maximum of 50 kW, are able to achieve an efficiency of up to 90% and with a backup system, they can also operate in the absence of grid power. In addition, a single installation makes it possible to obtain heat for heating the spaces and electricity.
