In preparation for Biogas Italy, the annual event of the Italian Biogas Consortium, a delegation of members attended a private audience with Pope Francis in Saint Peter’s Square. President Gattoni had the opportunity to thank the Holy Father personally for the Encyclical “Laudato si”, focused on the topic of respect for the environment. “It reminded us of the value of the work that we’re doing on Earth,” Gattoni remarked, “which is not just an inheritance that we receive but an asset that we borrow for future generations”.
