Cogeneration is the ideal tool for urban regeneration and the reduction of emissions. The European Union is developing so-called digital energy HUBS, in other words buildings designed to ensure a better use of resources and savings in economic terms. Italy is also trying to move in this direction, however, current legislation must promote and encourage the self-production of energy and liberalize networks.
