EEEF, the European fund for financing energy efficiency projects
Financing
The European Energy Efficiency Fund is a fund earmarked by the European Commission that has been supporting public energy efficiency initiatives with associated emissions abatement since 2011. Cogeneration is one of the technologies that can benefit from this support, as Paola Rusconi reminds us, illustrating two examples of projects where cogeneration was used, the district heating plant in the city of Orleans and the trigeneration plant for the hospital in Bologna.
