Relying on an ESCo for a cogeneration project can be an optimal solution for companies looking for energy efficiency without having to bear the burden of the investment. Under this model, in fact, the ESCo bears the cost of purchasing the cogeneration plant and the resulting investment risks. The client can therefore benefit from the plant for a fee that it pays to the ESCo.
