Efficient and Sustainable Nuclear Cogeneration for Industry
Technologies and components
HEXANA develops small modular reactors (SMRs) that produce high-temperature heat and electricity through cogeneration (CHP), storing the heat in a molten salt system.
The heat can be used directly in industrial processes or converted into electricity, providing flexibility and adaptability. The technology ensures ultra-low CO₂ emissions, combining energy and heat production sustainably. By valorizing the heat before conversion, efficiency exceeds 95%, reducing costs and waste.
