Eridania Sugar refinery: from beets to biogas
Case history
Sugar processing waste to produce biogas. The Eridania Sadam facility in S. Quirico Trecasali, Parma, houses the first biogas plant in Italy, 999 kW power, which is fed 75% by beet pulp and 25% from maize silage.
