In Novara, the CO-VER Power Technology plant demonstrates how natural gas trigeneration can combine high operational efficiency with the simultaneous production of electricity, steam and chilled water. 

The facility supplies electricity, steam and chilled water to a company in the microelectronics sector, using three engines with heat recovery to optimize their performance. Since 2024, the engines have been lubricated with Shell Mysella S7 N Ultra, a high-performance oil designed to deliver piston cleanliness, deposit control and compatibility with emission-control systems.

Since introducing Shell Mysella S7 N Ultra, CO-VER has extended maintenance intervals and reduced oil consumption, contributing to lower operating costs.

With over 750 engines lubricated and more than 8,000 oil analyses conducted annually, Shell provides lubrication technology, technical expertise and condition-monitoring support to cogeneration customers.
