Europe's bioenergy potential according to CODE2

According to an analysis conducted by the CODE2 project, the potential of biomass used in the cogeneration sector is on the rise. It is estimated that in 2030 this potential in Europe will be 24%; Eastern Europe in particular will register the greatest growth, through the use of biomass cogeneration as a viable alternative to natural gas purchased from Russia.
