First appointment of the FarmingTour organised by the CIB: the focus on biomethane/RNG
The latest developments in the biomethane sector in Italy in recent months have been at the heart of the first appointment of the FarmingTour. First and foremost, the new Decree and the launch of the first GSE call for access to incentives for the production of biomethane. This first event was hosted by Cooperativa Speranza, a company located in Candiolo (TO), the flagship of the Italian biogas sector, thanks to its ability to invest in technology and innovation, with the production of liquefied biomethane for the transport and carbon dioxide market that is sold to the mineral water industries. A company of excellence that has been able to integrate into the local territory of Candiolo and which today collaborates with the Institute for Research against Cancer of Candiolo and heats the hospital.
