Gas will continue to contribute to decarbonization after 2040
Energy efficiency and cogeneration
According to the Secretary General of Sedigas, gas is one of those resources that will contribute to decarbonization. Above all, it is crucial for the industry sector to reach energy efficiency through cogeneration. Moreover, such resource was included in the Energy & Climate Plan proposed by the Spanish government to the EU and it is expected that gas demand will remain stable after 2040.
