Guaranteeing energy contribution throughout natural disasters
Market and policy
During catastrophic events, such as hurricanes, energy contribution must be guaranteed to high energy consuming facilities such as hospitals and prisons. As Wohl explains, the project implemented by DCO Energy has made it possible to study the resilience of plants by preparing them to face hurricane Sandy. The results were excellent; as well as providing energy, the plants were able to resist the impact of the hurricane.
